a^2+b^2=c^2 and since we already know a and b we can plug that in to find out what c could be but we won't actually solve it.


a^2+b^2=c^2\\7^2+9^2=c^2\\49+81=c^2\\130=c^2\\√(c^2)=√(130)\\c=√(130)

So c would equal whatever the square root of 130 is.
