Answer: Area is when you multiply 2 sides to get the area. For example, the length of the grass rug should be 4 feet. The width should also be 8 feet. Then you can multiply those 2 numbers to get an area of 32 ft. Perimeter is when you add the sides together. Like so, 4ft for length 8ft for width, place another number thats the same length and with on their parallel sides add them together which gives you a total of 24!
