What is the sum of the arithmetic sequence 8, 14, 20 ..., if there are 22 terms?

The sum of 22 terms of given AP = 1562

Explanation:

Formula:-

Sum of n terms of AP,

Sₙ= (n/2)[2a + (n - 1)d]

To find the sum of 22 terms

Here. a = 8, d = 6 and n = 22

Sₙ= (n/2)[2a + (n - 1)d]

S₂₂ = (22/2)[2*8 + (22 - 1)*6]

= 11[16 + 126] = 11 * 142 = 1562
