First, you need to find the area of the triangle
![(6 * 8) / 2 = 24 {ft}^(2)](https://img.qammunity.org/2020/formulas/mathematics/high-school/d68k6xwhad0wgx3b1amqnhv9byyqbawr0i.png)
Then, Find the Area of the circle and divide it in half (you have only a semicircle). So you need the radius, that is half of the diameter= 4ft
![{4}^(2) * 3.1 = 16 * 3.1 = 49.6{ft}^(2)](https://img.qammunity.org/2020/formulas/mathematics/high-school/x0ee0ropah9iy1d0kv9xw2m744vd6lfm56.png)
Divide it in half (for the semicircle)
![49.6 / 2 = 24.8 {ft}^(2)](https://img.qammunity.org/2020/formulas/mathematics/high-school/nueybrss0t4ymhcdfq54doesd351rp54r5.png)
Sum the area of the triangle and the area of the semicircle
![24 + 24.8 = 48.8 {ft}^(2)](https://img.qammunity.org/2020/formulas/mathematics/high-school/5d7akydw9wpg8w1l5td90hbvymr7d2w486.png)
I hope you're satisfied (and i Hope I'm right)
