Hey there!

“2 (5x + 3)”

• FIRST and ONLY STEP: DISTRIBUTE 2 to ALL OF YOUR NUMBERS in the parentheses

2(5x) + 2(3)

2(5x) = 10x ⬅️ FRONT number

2(3) = 6 ⬅️ BACK number

BOTH OF YOUR NUMBERS ARE POSITIVE SO WE DON’T HAVE TO CHANGE ANYTHING

Answer: 10x + 6 ☑️

Good luck on your assignment and enjoy your day!
