Hinduism and Islam are two of the world's most widely practiced religions. Followers of these religions interacted a great deal after one of the Islamic "gunpowder empires" conquered India in the 16th century. Identify this empire and describe how Muslims and Hindus interacted during its reign. Also, describe how this relationship changed from the beginning of the empire to its fall. Organize your response into a clear, organized paragraph supported by historical evidence.

Hindu relations with Islam and Christianity are in some ways quite different. From the ties and tensions that bind together religions of Indian origin. Hindus live with a legacy of domination by Muslim and Christian rulers that stretches back many centuries in Northern India to the Delhi sultanate established in the early 13th century. The patterns of relationship between Hindus and Muslims have been different between North and South India.

Hope this helps ^_^
