Explanation:

f(x) = 2x^2 +1

g(x) = -6x

f°g(x) means f(g(x))

Take g(x) and substitute it in for x in f(x)

f(g(x)) = 2(g(x))^2 +1

=2(-6x)^2 +1

=2(36x^2) +1

=72x^2 +1
