It's very important when it comes to knowing health history. Health professionals give medications, some people are allergic to certain things in the medications. If this was not to be performed then they could be putting their patients at risk. Not only that, they need to know if they had recent activities in the past that they can figure out why they are coming into a professional. It would be unnecessary to give a random prescription not knowing what is really going on. In conclusion, if a Health Professional doesn't understand that they need to identify that information - they will not help the patient take the action needed to make whatever they came in for trustworthy. Keep in note they should also be trained to do this on a daily basis for all of their patients.
