So what you do is seperate them and 1/6 has 6 so you multiply it by six to get a whole. Then 1/3 has 3 so you multiply it 3 to get a whole. Then you multiply 1/2 by 6 cause it has 6 to get 4. Lastly you add the 2 wholes by 4 to get 6
