How I got this answer was by thinking of gcf ( greatest common factor). So first you would divided 18 and 12 by 2 to get 9 and 6 then you divided those to by3 to get 3 and 2 and beacuse you can't go and into 3 equally you will multiply 2 and 3 to get 6
