so

Convert the measures in feet


36\ in=36/12=3\ ft

we know that

The linear equation that represent this situation is equal to


y=3x+12

For

substitute in the linear equation and solve for x


33=3x+12


3x=33-12


3x=21


x=21/3=7\ weeks
