Area 51 is a classified military base in Arizona. People call it area 51 because it is a secret military code word or name that relates to the military operation that is there. Nobody really knows what they are doing there, since it is highly confined information. Some people think they have nuclear weapons, and others think they have aliens and/or evidence of aliens being completely real.
