help please!!!!!a gene is a segment of DNA That provides the instruction for making a protein. that specific protein that is made will influence our specific traits / characteristics along with the many physiological occurrences that take place within the human body. A gene will direct the synthesis of a protein by a two step process the first step Transcription if the gene in the DNA. transcription will first produce a messenger RNA (RNA) Molecule. During Transcription the sequence of bases in DNA are used as a template construct a corresponding sequence of bases in the mRNA.) Describe what occurs in the nucleas during transcription

Explanation: In eukaryotic cells, transcription takes place in the nucleus . During transcription, DNA is used as a template to make a molecule of messenger RNA ( mRNA ). The molecule of mRNA then leaves the nucleus and goes to a ribosome in the cytoplasm , where translation occurs.
