Use this formula:

Area = ((a + b)/2) x h

a is the top length

b is the bottom length

h is the vertical height

1) Substitute in the values:

((3.8 + 6.2)/2) x 7 = 35ft^2 <== this is the answer

2) Substitute in the values:

((10.3 + 15.1)/2) x 12.6 = 160.02in^2 <== this is the answer

Hope This Helps You!

Good Luck (:

Have A Great Day ^-^

Here is your answer

Area of trapezoid=

\frac {1}{2} ×(sum of parallel sides)× distance between them

1. Area=
\frac {1}{2}×(6.2+3.8)×7

=
(1)/(2)×10×7

=
5×7

=
35 {ft}^(2)

2. Area=
(1)/(2)×(10.3+15.1)×12.6

=
(1)/(2)×25.4×12.6

=
12.7×12.6

=
160.02 {in}^(2)

HOPE IT IS USEFUL
