Mike walks 100 meters north, then walks 30 meters south. After this, he walks another 10 meters north. What is his magnitude of his total displacement during this walk, in meters?

How To Get This Answer:

100-30+10 = 80

He’s walking in a straight line so we’re just adding and subtracting. Walking north is positive and walking south is negative.
