When a lamp is turned on, only about 10% of the energy is transformed into light. What happens to the rest of the energy?

A. The remaining energy is destroyed
B. Energy that is not transformed into light becomes thermal energy
C. The rest of the energy is changed into a solid state of matter
D. Energy is recycle back into the electrical circuit

It should be b because physical laws of conservation of energy and matter dictate that the energy is still emitted in some form, so a and d are incorrect. Energy does not convert into matter when it comes light bulbs, therefore b is also incorrect. That leaves only b which is the correct answer.
