Answer: - The study of prehistoric and ancient music is important because it played a large role in old societies and it went past just being music, but it being a part of how those ancient societies like ancient Egyptians and societies in general in Mesopotamia (Goes onto Question 3. aswell)

- It also helps us understand what developed music into what it is now and how different instruments were made and where it has come from
