So to find a slope the formula is written as

Y2-Y1/ X2 -X1

We know X1 and X2 and Y1.

If we plug those in and put Y2 as the variable ”r”

You’ll get


(r-4)/(1+5)

Now make that equal to -1 since thats the slope

If you solve the equation it should get you -2
