Graph of the two equations are already given

Now we do the shading part

To shade each inequality we use test point (0,0)

Plug in x=0 and y=0

x+3y<-3

0 +0 <-3 false

So we graph the region that does not contain (0,0)

Shade the parts C and D that is below the line x+3y<-3

for shading x>3, shade the part that is right of x=3 because we have > symbol

shade the parts B and D

In both graphs D is the common shaded part

So Region D is the solution to the given system of inequalities
