Answer:

r= 4

Explanation:

\boxed{ slope = (y _(1) - y_2 )/(x_1 - x_2) }

where (x₁, y₁) is the 1st coordinate and (x₂, y₂) is the second coordinate

(3)/(2) = (r - ( - 5))/(10 - 4)

(3)/(2) = (r + 5)/(6)

Cross multiply:

2(r +5)= 3(6)

Expand:

2(r) +2(5)= 18

2r +10= 18

-10 on both sides:

2r= 18 -10

2r= 8

Divide both sides by 2:

r= 8 ÷2

r= 4
