Why were Japanese Americans in Hawai not forced to go to internment camps?

a) They made up one third of a multiracial society.
b) Traveling to the camps would have been a long and difficult trip.
c) Hawaii was not a state, so the laws did not apply to them.
d) Since they lived far away from the mainland, they were not considered a threat.
