How much is needed to accelerate a 1000-kg car at a rate of 3m/s^2

If its the force you hav to calculate then use the equation F=ma where

F is foce

m is mass

a is acceleration

Therefore F = 1000kg × 3ms^-2 = 3000N

If we use F=m×a or in this case F=1000×3

So this car would need 3000 Newtons to accelerate it, discounting friction since we don't know what the surface is or the coefficient of friction.
