For allzero exponents the answer is always one but I am unaware of the negative exponents.

For zero exponents, the answer is always 1 no matter what number it is. For negative exponents, you flip it. So the numerator that has the negative exponent would flip and become the denominator. The denominator with a negative exponent would flip and become the numerator. If they don't have a negative exponents, it stays in the same place.
