Answer:

The dimensions of the room are 6 m and 10 m

Explanation:

Let the width of the room is x

∴ Its length = x + 4

∵ The perimeter of the rectangle = 2(length + width)

∴ 2(x + 4 + x) = 32

∴ 2(2x + 4) = 32

∴ 4x + 8 = 32

∴ 4x = 24

∴ x = 24/4 = 6

∴ The length = 6 + 4 = 10 m

∴ The width = 6 m
