Answer:

y = - 2x + 110

Explanation:

The equation of a line in slope- intercept form is

y + mx + c ( m is the slope and c the y- intercept )

To calculate m use the slope formula

m = (y₂ - y₁ ) / (x₂ - x₁ )

with (x₁, y₁ ) = (0, 110) and (x₂, y₂ ) = (20, 70) ← 2 points on the line

m =
(70-110)/(20-0) =
(-40)/(20) = - 2

the line crosses the y- axis at (0, 110) ⇒ c = 110

y = - 2x + 110 ← equation of line
