Answer:

9940 cm

Explanation:

A pool is 100m by 100m which means that its length and breadth both is of 100m.

1 m = 100 cm

100 m = 100 * 100 cm

=10000 cm

The distance of a ball thrown by a toddler inside the pool from one edge of pool = 60 cm

The distance of a ball thrown by a toddler inside the pool from other edge of pool:

EDGE EDGE

A B

----------------------------------------------------

10000cm

-----

60cm

----------------------------------------------

xcm

= ( 10000 - 60 ) cm

= 9940 cm

So the ball is 9940 cm away from the other edge.
