The slope of the graphed line

Choose two points and substitute them into the formula y2-y1 divided by x2-x1

(3,0) and (0,1)

1-0 divided by0-3 which is 1/-3

The slope of the graphed line is 1/-3

The y intercept of the graphed line is (0,1)

The slope of the equation is 1/2

1) find the gradient of the graph so change in y divided by change in x so 2/3
2) The point the graph crosses the y axis is the y-intercept so +1
3)slope means gradient in the equation y=Mx+c m is the gradient therefore the answer is 1/2
4) y=mx+c the y intercept is c therefore -1
