Answer:

Option B. 5/6, 7/9, 3/5.

Explanation:

Given fractions are 5/6, 7/9, 3/5 and we have to arrange these fractions in ascending order.

First we take two fractions 5/6 and 7/9.

When we subtract them

(5)/(6)-(7)/(9)=(45-42)/(54)=(3)/(54)

we get the positive value of subtraction that means 5/6 > 7/9----(1)

Now by comparing 7/9 and 3/5.

(7)/(9)-(3)/(5)=(35-27)/(45)=(8)/(45)

Positive value means 7/9 > 3/5-----(2)

Now we take 5/6 and 3/5.

(5)/(6)-(3)/(5)=(25-18)/(30)=(7)/(30)

Again positive value means 5/6 > 3/5-----(3)

From 1, and 3 we get that 5/6 is the greatest number and from (2)- 7/9 > 3/5.

Therefore 5/6 > 7/9 > 3/5

Option B is the correct option.
