We have to tell are the two figures similar or not.

As the similar figures have their corresponding sides in same proportion. Therefore, we check for the proportion


(AB)/(EF)=(2)/(5)


(BC)/(FG)=(10)/(20)=(1)/(2)

which shows
(AB)/(EF)\\eq(BC)/(FG)

Hence, the corresponding sides are not in same proportion.

∴ The above two figures are not similar as their cooreponding sides are not in same proportion.
