The curriculum of some Texas schools changed because besides the regular preparation of classes that the teachers should do in English, with bilingual education they should to provide literacy in two idioms, be familiarized with the tools of the languages acquisition, and to know how or when to do the transition from the mother language (for example Spanish) to English, switching languages between classes, starting the lecture in the mother language then progressively introduce English to finally teach almost totally in English.
