Roger Sherman was active in the colonies' struggle for independence from British rule. He served in the Continental Congress from 1774-1781 and 1783-1784. During that time, he helped write the Declaration of Independence and the Articles of Confederation, both of which he also signed.

Answer: Roger Sherman.

Explanation: One of the authors of the Declaration of Independence and signatory thereof, the Articles of Confederation and the Constitution of the United States was Roger Sherman who had the honor of participating in the revision of the draft of the same. Represented Connecticut in the Constitutional Convention. He worked together with 4 more members, such as Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, Benjamin Franklin and Robert R. Livingston who, by mutual agreement, made corrections to them after that Declaration. However, the main authorship as such is conferred on Jefferson for his extensive knowledge in writing, for being a famous writer, and because he provided some of his proposals as such.
