What are the solutions of x² + 6x - 6 = 10?

x²+6x-16 = 0

x²+8x-2x-16 = 0

Make two groups and taking common

x(x+8)-2(x+8) = 0

Taking (x+8) common,we get

(x+8)(x-2) = 0

Applying zero-Product Property to above equation,we get

x+8 = 0 or x-2 = 0

x = -8 or x = 2 which is the answer.
