I need help and correct answer.

(1)There are a number of ways to tell if a person has a drug problem. (2)First, a drug abuser cannot stop using or drinking. (3)Secondly, the person turns into a "different" person when she or he is using the drug, acting in unusual ways. (4)Another signal is that the user makes excuses for using drugs. (5)He or she will say that it was an especially bad day at school or work, or that a relationship has become very stressful. (6)Fourth, an abuser will try to cover up drug use, or will pretend that it "isn't that bad." (7)Yet another signal is that the abuser will forget things that happen while he or she is high or drunk. (8)Finally, the abuser will be the last to recognize that he or she has a problem.
