Answer: 33.33%

The error is 2 pounds because 8-6 = 2, so the percent error is approximately (2/6)*100 = 33.33%

I divided the error (2) over the true amount (6). Then I multiplied by 100 to convert to a percent. The result is approximate to 2 decimal places.
