Richter Scale is used to measure the Intensity of Earthquake.

The Intensity of Earthquake lies between 2 to 10.

An Earthquake of intensity 7 is very harmful and intensity of 8 can destroy everything around that area.

An earthquake of intensity 8 is 100 times more powerful than earthquake of intensity 6, because it has base of 10 in it's Logarithm.
