Write an equation of the line passing through the point (6,4) that is perpendicular to the line y=- 1/2x +4 ​

Hello,

"perpendicular to the line y= - 1/2x +4 "

so y = -1/2x + p

-1/2 × 6 + p = 4 ⇔ -3 + p = 4 ⇔ p = 4 + 3 = 7

y = -1/2x + 7
