The perimeter will be enlarged by 2 and the area is enlarged by 4.

Explanation:

The perimeter is the distance around the rectangle. If the side lengths are enlarged by 2 then the distance around the shape will be enlarged 2.

The area of a rectangle is A = L*W. If the the L and W are doubled then the

A = 2L*2W = 4L*W

So the area is enlarged by 4.
