the decimal move 2 places to the left. for example if it was 62% itd be 62. but id move it to placed to the left so itd be .62 and for a decimal youd move it to the right 2 times so if it was .634 itd be 63.4 %

Answer:

The decimal point moves two places to the left when you rewrite the percentage as a decimal. When you rewrite the decimal as a percentage you move the decimal point two places to the right.
