i.e. 6 % of Price of shirt

So Sales tax on shirt

=8.00*
(6)/(100)

=
(48.00)/(100)

=$0.48

Total cost = Price of shirt + Sales Tax on shirt

=$ 8.00+ $0.48

=$8.48
