Answer : The correct option is, (D) 3200 Joules

Solution : Given,

Force applied = 1600 N

Displacement = 2 m

Formula used :


W=F* d

where,

W = work done

F = applied force

d = displacement

Now put all the given values in the above formula, we get the work done.


W=F* d=(1600N)* (2m)=3200J

Therefore, the amount of work done was, 3200 Joules
