Then the equation of the axis of symmetry is

x = -
(b)/(2a)

y = x² - 6x +
(41)/(5) is in standard form

with a = 1 and b = - 6, hence

x = -
(-6)/(2) = 3

equation of axis of symmetry is x = 3
