What requirements were placed on Germany in the Treaty of Versailles?

Non-agression. They had limited resources and access to them, as well as a very small military.

Germany had to surrender all of its colonies as LN mandates, give Alsace-Lorraine back to France, demilitarize, and pay reparations for war damages. Hence the buildup of anger leading to the powder keg Germany became making it an easy target for manipulation (I.E. Hitler) and leading to ww2
