since 2. is a 90 degree angle. you subtract 76 from 90. then subtract 6 from the answer and you should get x.

The total measure of angle is 90°

From the figure we get,

76° + (x - 6)° = 90°

76 + x - 6 = 90

x + 70 = 90

x = 90 - 70 = 20°

Therefore the the value of x= 20°

In figure 4.

Total measure of angle is 90°

from figure we get 3x = 90°

x = 90/3 = 30°

Therefore value of x = 30°
