Here:
perimeter = 174 units
or, 2(PQ+QR) = 174
or, 2(4y+3+3y) = 174
or, 2(7y+3) = 174
or, 14y+6 = 174
or, 14y = 174 - 6
or, y = 168 / 14
Therefore, y = 12
So,
PQ = 4 x 12 + 3
= 51 units
