Hi! The two questions got merged, so I'll rearrange them.

1) Choose all that apply. What are three characteristics of the Great Wall of China? A) World’s longest humanmade structure at more than four thousand miles, B) Actually constructed from a series of smaller walls that were connected together, C) Completed by the Qing Dynasty, D) Built to guard against Mongol invaders, D) Located along the southern border of China.

Most of the Great Wall of China was made by the Ming Dynasty but it was rebuilt, mainteined and enhanced by various others. It is located across the historical northern borders of the country.

2) According to the Missouri Compromise, how were Maine and Missouri to be admitted to the Union? A) as a free and slave state, B) as a free trade and non-trade state, C) Both admitted as free states.

The Missouri Compromise, signed in 1820, was needed in order to solve the rising tension over the pro-slavery and anti-slavery factions in Congress. It admitted Missouri as a slave state and Maine as a free state.
