What is the difference between a Tundra and a Taiga?

he tundra has a layer of permafrost, and has really poor vegetation were it is 20% of snow with no trees due to the temperature which is colder than the Antartica. The taiga is located near the top of the world, just below the tundra biome. A lot of coniferous trees grow in the taiga.

The most striking visual difference between taiga and tundra is the presence of trees. The taiga has a thick forest of conifers such as pine and spruce, while in the tundra trees are absent completely
