Answers:

a. The Codons UAG, UGA and UAA on the mRNA sequence do not encode any amino acids because they are called nonsense or stop codons.

b. A nonsense codon causes end of polypeptide chain synthesis, when a ribosome reads the mRNA sequence UAG, UGA, or UAA during translation.
