Answer:

Solution is

((1)/(2),(-3)/(2))

Which is Option C

Explanation:

We are given the equations

4x - 6y = 11 ...............(i)

3x+y = 0 ..............(ii)

Now from equation (ii) we have

3x + y = 0

subtracting 3x from both sides we get

3x + y - 3x = 0 - 3x

y = -3x ....................(iii)

substituting this value in equation (i) which is

4x - 6y =11

Putting the value of y

4x - 6(-3x) = 11

4x + 18x = 11

22x = 11

Dividing both sides by 22

we get

(22x)/(22)=(11)/(22)

or

x=
(1)/(2)

Now we have equation (iii) which tells us that

y= -3x

Putting value of x here

y = -3(
(1)/(2))

It becomes

y =
(-3)/(2)

So

Solution set of the equation is

((1)/(2),(-3)/(2))
