The length of a rectangle is units greater than twice its width. If its width is w, which expression gives the perimeter of the rectangle in terms of w?

The length is 2w because it is twice the width.

Multiply w by 2 which gives you 2w.

Then multiply 2w by 2 which gives you 4w.

Add those two together which gives 6w.
