the sum of the 3 angles in a triangle = 180°

Summing the 3 angles and equating to 180 gives

2x + 3 + 4x + 2 + 2x - 1 = 180

8x + 4 = 180 ( subtract 4 from both sides )

8x = 176 ( divide both sides by 8 )

x = 22

∠A = 2x + 3 = (2 × 22) + 3 = 44 + 3 = 47°

∠B = 4x + 2 = (4 × 22) + 2 = 88 + 2 = 90°

∠C = 2x - 1 = (2 × 22) - 1 = 44 - 1 = 43°
